Das Automat Microsites
We can make a simple merch store for your business or project, and it's free if yours has been significantly impacted by the current state of the world.
It's a way to generate support (and cash) for your brand, with hardly any effort on your part.
Now. These sites should be particularly useful during a global pandemic.
Many lively establishments have been forced to close of late, and their loyal patrons want to help.
This lets them do that safely, and they get something nice to keep. Win win.
HOW DO THEY WORK?
It's exceptionally simple.
1 - Come up with some designs, or ask for our help
2 - We'll use them to make you a microsite a bit like this one
3 - Share the site link with your community
4 - When you sell an item, we'll print it and ship direct
5 - We'll send you sales figures and profits at each month's end
Is it really free to set up?
Yes, during pandemics.
If your business has genuinely been impacted, we'll make you a simple merch site gratis. If you have a fresh project in mind or are lucky enough to have a business that's holding tight, we'll still make you one. Site packages start at $200, get in touch via help@dasautomat for more info.
How does the money bit work?
You can choose to set your own prices, or use our standard rates for one-offs ($40 tee, $25 tote, $20 mug, $60 jumper). Our cut won't change.
We take a flat rate cut of each sale. $18 per tee, $14 per tote, $12 per mug, and $38 per hoodie/jumper (this allows for a premium blank + printing on one side).
If there are no sales, neither party takes a cut. Which is sad, but fine. We won't charge you anything. But try to share the page as much as you can, and encourage others to.
Be bold with your prices, and ask for support.
In this climate, these sites aren't really about the products. It's about the financial help.
Make a $100 mug with some comedy on it, or a $200 limited edition tee. If they wear it to your venue after this is all over they get a free meal/coffee/haircut etc
